Thursday Folders (with Additional Info) >
Dear Families,
We are implementing Thursday Folders as a way of increasing communication between teachers and parents regarding how students are doing academically. This will be implemented in all of our classrooms. This Thursday, you will see a purple folder in your student's backpack. This purple folder will come home every Thursday. It will contain your student's reading log, any homework that has been assigned, graded work from class, the end of the unit assessment grades for math and literacy, and the graded end of unit writing assignment (among other things the teacher may decide to include).
Please make sure you follow the directions that were sent last week so that you can also download Thrillshare, our school's method of communicating with families. Through Thrillshare, classroom teachers will also be sharing information at the beginning of every math and literacy unit that will tell you what your student will be working on.
Additional Info: Please make sure you are returning the purple folder in your student's backpack after you view the materials because we will need to make sure this can be replenished and sent home each week!
